În ultimele fotografii postate pe contul de Instagram al cuplului regal, Ducesa de Cambridge apare fără inelul de logodnă. De ce a decis soţia Prinţului William să îndepărteze bijuteria cu safir?

Fanii s-au împărţit în două tabere. Unii spun că alegerea are legătură cu faptul că Ducesa adoptă un stil vestimentar mai relaxat în izolare. Alţii mizează pe regulile de prevenţie, principala fiind spălatul des pe mâni cu apă şi săpun, dar şi pe faptul că virusul poate rezista pe suprafeţe metalice până la câteva zile.

Bijuteria ar putea creşte riscul de infectare

Publicaţia Hello! scrie că Ducesa de Cambridge nu este singura persoană de notorietate, care a renunţat la bijuterii în contextul prevenirii infectării cu virusul Covid-19.

Deşi nu este confirmat, în sensul că Organizaţia Mondială a Sănătăţii nu a oferit detalii clare în privinţa riscului de a purta bijuterii, sunt oameni de ştiinţă care spun că este logic să îndepărtezi inelele când dezinfectezi suprafeţele des şi te speli frecvent cu apă şi săpun pe mâini.

Mai mult decât atât, germenii pot supravieţui în locuri dificil de curăţat ale bijuteriilor şi pot creşte riscul de infectare.
